OUR STORY
HOW WE
GOT HERE
This is a story of a boy meets tipsy girl in a tiny Japanese restaurant that had no business being as busy as it was for their first date.
Eager to get to know one another better, they were quick to lock in the dates that followed.
Their second date saw her plan an epic Brisbane bar crawl to reintroduce him to his hometown after years of living in Chicago. The next day, he returned the favour with a sunset picnic at their shared favourite spot, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, where he would later admit was the moment he fell in love with her.

Everything from there simply fell into place. It was easy, uncomplicated and fun. Until a South American adventure at the most imperfect of times nearly gets in the way. They decide they would simply prefer to not be without one another and boy chases her halfway across the world and the rest, as they say, sorts itself out.

It’s that same infectious thirst for adventure that still burns between them today. Together, they’ve filled countless albums with memories from all corners of the world. Some wild, like summiting Acatenango Volcano at sunrise, and others quietly romantic, like a proposal atop Sacré-Cœur in Paris. And in between it all, are the everyday moments they cherish just as much, shared alongside their legendary little man, Dagger.
Finding someone who meets you where you dream is rare, but when it happens, you book the venue, invite the people you cherish most and celebrate it properly.

GETTING HERE
The Lodge,
Jamberoo
GETTING THERE
The closest airport is Sydney, which is approximately 90 minutes from Jamberoo by car. We'd recommend hiring a car if you can, as it gives you the freedom to explore the area. Rideshare to Jamberoo from Sydney is possible but limited.
PARKING
All guests have parking right next to their room.
No fuss, no lugging luggage across the property.
WEATHER IN AUGUST
Cool and crisp — gorgeous winter sun during the day, chilly mornings and evenings. Pack layers, bring something warm for the nights, and don't forget shoes you can actually dance in.
WHERE YOU'LL STAY
The Lodge
is entirely ours
The Lodge sits on 9 acres of lush riverfront land, surrounded by pine trees and ancient rainforest — 15 minutes from the beaches of Kiama and 90 minutes from Sydney. It’s the kind of place that has everything you could want or need. With more than enough space to wander, unwind, and properly switch off between events.
We've secured exclusive use of the venue for the four days, which means every person under that roof is someone we know and love. Each room is private, comfortable, and a short walk from everything happening across each day.
There's plenty to keep you happily occupied on-site — order directly to the pool from Lulu's Restaurant and Fins Bar, unwind in the wooden sauna or outdoor jacuzzi, play some tennis or borrow a bike and explore the valley.
We can't wait to share it all with you!

BOOKING YOUR ROOM
TRAVELLING SOLO?
The rates are exclusive discounts negotiated for our guests. We know this celebration asks something of you in time and travel, and we wanted to make sure the accommodation part felt as easy and as accessible as possible.
When you RSVP, you'll be asked to nominate your room preference and who you'd like to share with. Once RSVPs close on Friday, 1 May 2026, we'll confirm your allocation and send through everything you need to complete your booking.
Room payment is due by Sunday, 17 May 2026. Full details and a payment link will be sent once your RSVP is confirmed.
Rooms are allocated after the RSVP deadline — please note that some room types are limited, however we will do our best to honour preferences where we can.
If you prefer your privacy you can nominate a King Room - Solo in your preferences. If you’d prefer to split the costs, we have a number of guests coming solo and we can help to pair people up thoughtfully in King or Twin Rooms for those who'd like to share if there are available rooms. Just let us know in your RSVP and leave the rest to us.
ARRIVING EARLY?
Check-in opens at 3pm on Tuesday 4 August. If you're arriving earlier, you're welcome to head straight to Lulu's restaurant to grab yourself some lunch or a drink at Fins Bar while your room is being prepared. The party effectively starts the moment you pull in.

WE CAN'T WAIT TO TWIST, SHOUT

FAQS
Good
Questions
WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE
Garden Party Formal.
Embrace colour, have fun with it, and dress to celebrate.

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
As much as we adore the little ones in our lives, this is a grown-ups celebration. With limited space and an intimate guest list, we've made the difficult decision to keep this one adults only — so you can relax, celebrate and enjoy every moment without the mum and dad hat on. We hope you understand.

IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY ON ACCOMM?
Rooms cannot be cancelled after 30 June 2026. If your circumstances change after this date, please reach out to us directly and we'll do our best to help.

IS THERE A GIFT REGISTRY?
Honestly? Having you there is the gift. We know the effort and expense it takes to join us for the week and we couldn't be more grateful to be surrounded by the people we love most.

That said, if you'd like to mark the occasion with something, we're saving for our honeymoon in 2027 before we buy our first home together — so in lieu of a registry, there will be a wishing well on the day.

ARE THERE ANY HOUSE RULES?
The pool is exclusively ours, open 7am to 10pm daily — no glassware in the pool area. Rooms will be cleaned on departure, but additional cleaning fees apply if needed. Please don't move furniture without prior consent.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD OR DRINKS?
You're welcome to bring your own to enjoy in your room. The Lodge is fully licensed, so outside food and alcohol in common areas is a no-go during service hours.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
Early August in Jamberoo is cool and crisp — think gorgeous winter sun during the day with chilly mornings and evenings. Pack layers, bring something warm for the nights, and don't forget a pair of shoes you can actually dance in.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?
Yes, you can park right outside your room. No fuss, no lugging bags across a car park. Easy.

CAN I JOIN FOR PART OF THE FOUR DAYS?
We'd love to have you for every moment — but we understand that life doesn't always make that easy. If you're only able to join us for part of the celebrations, rooms are available on a minimum two-night basis. Two-night stays are priced at $320 for solo occupancy and $200 per person for shared rooms.

Just let us know your preferred nights in “Anything Else?” when you RSVP and we'll do our best to make it work.

WHAT TIME DOES THE CEREMONY START?
The ceremony begins at 2pm at the Tree Cathedral. We'd love everyone seated by 1:45pm so we can start right on time.

CAN I EXTEND MY STAY?
The Lodge isn't available beyond Friday 7 August, but Kiama and the surrounding area are absolutely worth a few more nights. We've included some recommendations you can check out here: Explore the Region.
EXPLORE THE REGION
Things
to Do
You've come a long way. If you want to make the most of it, here's our guide to the best of the area, from the paddock at your doorstep to the streets of Sydney.

Established in 1857 and still going strong. Grab a counter lunch and feel immediately at home in one of the South Coast's most loved local pubs.

A scenic boardwalk loop through ancient forest with an optional detour to a stunning waterfall. Bring good shoes and a camera.

Two family-owned spots just south of Kiama in Gerringong. Exactly the kind of places you stumble across and spend the whole afternoon at.
KIAMA COASTAL WALK
A 22km coastal trail with ancient rock formations, sweeping beaches, and some of the best views on the east coast. Do a section or the whole thing.

HYAMS BEACH
Widely regarded as having the whitest sand in the world. This is not a marketing claim — it's genuinely extraordinary. Crystal clear water, usually quiet in winter.

Tucked away in an industrial estate — great brews, a beer garden, and rotating food trucks. You're welcome.

One of the world's great urban walks. Take the Manly Ferry back for a perfect bookend to the day.
